How Parchment Exchange works
A global marketplace for green, parchment and cherry coffee. Free to list and trade during our launch period.
List a lot
Producers, processors and traders add photos and the spec sheet: origin, altitude, variety, process, grade, moisture, cup score, volume, bag size, Incoterm and price.
Make an offer
Buyers filter lots and send an offer with volume, price and terms. Buyers can also post requests, and matching sellers respond.
Message, agree, ship
Discuss samples and terms in private messages. When an offer is accepted, both sides also see each other's phone and email. The seller marks the deal completed.
Built for trade across borders
- Your language
- Use the site in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Swahili, Arabic or Chinese. Choose in the top menu.
- Your units and currency
- Show prices per pound or per kilo, with an approximate local-currency price.
- Grades
- Each origin grades differently: AA/AB/PB (Kenya, Tanzania), Grade 1–5 (Ethiopia), Supremo/Excelso (Colombia), SHB/SHG (Central America), NY 2/3 (Brazil). Sellers enter their origin's grade.
- Bag sizes
- 60 kg is standard. Colombia uses 70 kg, Central America 69 kg. Each lot shows its bag size and total weight.
- Incoterm
- Who pays for transport and when risk passes. FOB = seller loads at the named port; EXW = buyer collects at the seller's warehouse; CIF/DAP = seller pays freight to the destination.
- EUDR
- Importers bringing coffee into the EU must show it was not grown on land deforested after 2020, using farm GPS locations. Filter for lots whose sellers can provide this.
- Cup score
- SCA cupping score out of 100. 80+ is specialty grade.
- Moisture
- Green coffee should sit at 10–12% for safe storage and shipping. Values outside that range are shown in amber.
- Ratings
- After an offer is accepted, the buyer and seller rate each other from 1 to 5 stars. Ratings stay hidden until both have rated, or for 14 days, so nobody can take revenge.
- Verified
- The member's identity and business documents were checked by the Parchment Exchange team.

Free to list
Listing lots, posting requests, making offers and messaging is free.
Featured & Verified
Featured lots appear first and on the home page. The Verified badge shows buyers we checked your business. Both are free during launch.
Success fee
After launch, a small success fee (around 2%) will apply to deals completed through the site. Members get at least 30 days' notice first.
